About Us

Our firm, which presently operates from two offices in Ikeja, Lagos State and Akure, Ondo State, was founded in 1983 by Mr. Ayodele Ebenezer Falaiye (now late), with the object of providing quality professional services. From inception, it has grown to its present size providing high quality services in the areas of assurance, accounting, tax and management consulting to numerous clients in the medical, engineering services, banking, entertainment and information technology sectors. In addition, the firm has over the years provided consulting services to various government parastatals, companies and agencies.

In particular, the firm has been involved in the development, implementation and review of accounting and internal control systems for various private and public sector organisations. Some of our more recent commissions are outlined below:

  1. SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION

Our firm was appointed as one of the ten firms chosen nationwide to perform the minimum paid-up share capital compliance audit of the affairs of 100 capital market operators by the Securities and Exchange Commission in June 2000. This exercise involved an incisive examination of the assets and liabilities of the affected capital market operators, post compliance cut-off date with a view to ensuring that additional capital claimed to have been injected to satisfy the commission’s new share capital requirement had been actually brought in.

 

  1. TKM MAESTRO(KENYA) LIMITED-DUE DILIGENCE EXERCISE

 

After a thorough selection process, our firm was selected to perform a due diligence exercise on the 5 subsidiaries and holding company of this Kenyan Telecomms Engineering giant about  to be bought over by a Nigerian Company. Our team toured the subsidiaries located in Accra, Kampala, Lagos, Dar-es-Salam, Kigali and Nairobi and performed our work employing globally accepted best practices in the area of due diligence exercises. We have recently submitted our report which included a Company Valuation of the Group.

  1. DREDGING AND RECLAMATION JAN DE NUL LIMITED

This is the Nigerian subsidiary of the second largest dredging and land reclamation company in the world. Our firm has been serving as external auditors and tax consultants since 2003. Since 2005 she has executed 5 major contracts in the Niger Delta of Nigeria and in Angola.

  1. THE IBM SERVICE CENTRE, VICTORIA ISLAND.

We designed and implemented the accounting system of the Nigerian Product Support Centre of this world acclaimed manufacturer of high-end computer hardware. We have been acting as auditors and tax consultants from January 2006

 

  1. LOCAL GOVERNMENT AUDITS

We performed (as sub contractors) the audit of Lagos Mainland Local Government and Lagos Island East LCDA for the period 1999 to 2006 and submitted our findings to the office of the executive governor in April, 2007.

 

 

  1. AIRA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED

This company based in Victoria Island, Lagos is an IBM business partner and one of the leaders in the provision of Information Technology Networking and Software solutions. We act as external auditors and tax consultants. We developed and implemented the company’s accounting and internal control systems and procedure manuals at inception. In addition, we recently performed a business valuation exercise for this client as it was about to issue out additional shares to finance its expansion program.

In July 2003, we performed a business valuation of this client when she was about to do a private placement.

  1. NATIONAL TRUCK  MANUFACTURERS LIMITED, KANO

 HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTANCY

           

Between 2006 and 2007, our firm conducted a staff audit exercise of this company’s human assets and subsequently conducted a staff recruitment exercise covering all divisions of the plant and employing 35 senior to middle management staff.

 

 

  1. TAX FACILITATION AND FIXED ASSETS VERIFICATIONS

We were involved as sub-consultants in the fixed assets verifications of African Petroleum and the then Unipetrol in 2000 and 2001 in preparation for government’s divestment in this companies.

We have also been engaged as Tax Facilitators on various tax workshops and training programmes over the years. In October 2003, we were appointed as facilitators at a tax training programme for the accounting and audit staff of the Kano, Kaduna and Port Harcourt Regions of Total Nigeria Plc.

Presently, our firm acts as tax audit and monitoring agent to the Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue and have to date presented reports of our findings on the audits of  the tax records of 15 big and medium scale companies in the state. On the other side, the firm has since 1996 successfully defended no less than 21 clients on several state and federal government tax audits. In addition, some of our partner’s consult or have acted as facilitators at different tax workshops over the years.

PARTNERS

FALAIYE, Omoniyi OladipoB.Sc., FCA – Principal Partner

Mr. Omoniyi Falaiye is the scion of the late founder and ex-principal Mr. Ayodele Ebenezer Falaiye.

Mr. Falaiye an experienced Chartered Accountant also possesses a Bachelor of Science

Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife and is presently studying for a Masters in Business Administration.

Mr. Falaiye has been involved in professional practice as a trainee and subsequently as a qualified accountant since 1991. He also deputizes as the firm’s Head of Audit. He has been responsible for the design and development of the automated accounting and internal control systems of the majority of the firm’s clients.

 

SHAFE Wasiu Adekunle HND, ACA  – Managing Partner

Mr. Shafe, also a chartered accountant is the Head, Consulting Services. Mr. Shafe is an accounting graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro. Mr. Shafe has been with our firm since 1998 coordinating, controlling and supervising various audits and consulting teams on over 50 different exercises.

OJURONGBE, Olurotimi TajudeenHND, ACA

Mr. Ojurongbe, an experienced chartered accountant is the sleeping  partner. A graduate of the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, He has extensive experience in audit garnered over 8 years in the firm of Temidayo Adebayo and Co.

 

MANAGERS

  1. Adeyemo, Oriyomi Adekoya B.Sc. ACA- Audit Manager

Ori is a graduate of the Polytechnic, Ilaro, entered the practice of audit and taxation in 1992 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998. Throughout his 13 years in practice, he has managed no less than 100 audits of 30 different companies. He is presently studying for a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Ibadan(Part time).

Mr. Adeyemo also has the job of supervising work performed by our 6 audit seniors.

  1. Okeowo David. B.Sc. , MBA, AMNIM, ACA

David is an accounting graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University. He has between 1999 and 2011 been employed in Corporate Nigeria growing from the position of Accounts Assistant to Senior Accountant to Deputy Financial Controller before moving into the world of Audit and Tax practice in 2011.

 

SENIORS, SEMI-SENIORS AND TRAINEES

The firm has in its employ 6 audit/tax seniors in its Lagos and Akure offices. The minimum qualification of an audit senior is 2 years experience and ICAN PE II. Assisting the seniors on the field, are our 12 semi-seniors and trainee accountants. Other services rendered to our clients include:
